Inaugural Youth STEM Matters Editor-In-Chief Appointed
At Youth STEM 2030, we are delighted to announce the recent appointment of Adam Khan-Qureshi as the inaugural Editor-In-Chief of our youth scientific journal and flagship project, Youth STEM Matters!
Adam has been involved in the development of Youth STEM Matters since day one, as one of its 6 Co-Founders, and brings a wealth of experience from senior positions in other student publications. Adam has, in particular, played a key role in formulating the peer review process for Youth STEM Matters, and developing training resources for new Volunteer Team members. He is currently a second year undergraduate student at the University of Warwick, studying Biochemistry.
Speaking of Adam’s appointment, Youth STEM 2030 Founder & CEO, Mhairi McCann said:
“Adam’s considerable experience of scientific publishing will be of huge value to the Youth STEM Matters team. I am confident that with his track record of project management and his excellent work ethic, Adam will lead Youth STEM Matters through an exciting initial period as a platform for the world’s youth!”

With so many young people using STEM to change the landscape of the planet, our journal provides these young scientists the opportunity to showcase their work to the public and allow them to engage in a discussion within the research community. I am looking forward to working with the team and authors to produce high-quality articles and more importantly shape the next generation of scientists!”
